The Electric Rose Vision is to create an environment of inspiration, revelation and celebration through image and word. We represent women artist's whose work is both visionary and narrative. A story is being told, an idea shared, a hope whispered, a dream revealed.
We feature fine art paintings, bronze sculpture, one-of-a-kind jewelry, fine art gicle'e prints, neon art, creativity journals, greeting cards, paper prints and Icons from all over the world.
The gallery was founded in November 2008 by two girlfriends, Shiloh Sophia McCloud and Dori Wyota Etter. Shiloh has owned galleries for over twelve years and currently still has Wisdom House Gallery in Mendocino. Dori Etter has been working in the business world for over fifteen years and was on a sabatical when she and Shiloh met at the San Francisco wholesale show in January 2008. The two became fast friends and began plotting how they could land a gallery and studio space in Healdsburg, California. Following Dori's trip around the world and Shiloh's move to Healdsburg in September, they worked with the Cosmic Cowgirls to open the studio located on 401 Center Street which features weekly workshops and events.
One day while taking a stroll through the lovely village of Healdsburg, Dori and Shiloh happend across 107 Plaza Street, and this dream began to take on it's current form as Electric Rose Gallery. A collaboration between two women, with entrepreneurial spirits, tons of passion, a desire to see a difference in the world and heart to bring beauty!
The two were joined by the third member of their team, Mary MacDonald, previously the Gallery Director at Wisdom House for over two years. You can find Dori, Mary and Shiloh at Electric Rose any day of the week except on Tuesday, ready to invite you into this sanctuary of beauty.
